Are the pressures of life getting you down
Are the pressures of life getting you down to the point where you think the only way out is through suicide? Hold on, there is help in the person of Jesus Christ.
Suicide is not the answer. Turn to Jesus and give your life to Him; he will help you to turn your life around. God’s plan is for Jesus to take your life and help you do something with it.
Thoughts of suicide usually come from the lack of peace, joy, finances, and health challenges. They are the storms of life that are difficult to overcome, and you don’t know where to turn or how to make your life right again. It’s like everything is falling apart and you are failing at everything you do.
God’s Word has the answers
However, God’s Word has the answers. The Bible is an aid to discovering the love and peace God has to offer you. Read and meditate on this Psalm repeatedly on His Love for you. God desires to show faith and grace to anyone who will receive it.
His Word and commandments will add many years of peace and joy to your life’s journey. Pray to God for His help, listen to what He says, and act on His Word. Promises will come to you when you don’t compromise and believe in faith without doubting.
Jesus gave us His peace, but we have to receive it. The Word says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27 MEV).
Jesus also gave us joy when He said, “I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15:11 MEV).
God loves you so much
God loves you so much that He sent Jesus Christ to this earth who gave His life on the cross to pay for the sins of man. By His death, He redeems mankind back to God and gives eternal life to everyone who accepts Jesus as Savior.
If you have never received Jesus into your heart and you are thinking about suicide, then pray for salvation using the following prayer.
“Dear God in heaven, I believe with my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit. I believe Your Word is true, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now according to Your Word, I’m a new creature in Christ.
Old things have passed away. In the Name of Jesus, I believe all thoughts of taking my life have passed away and I turn my life over to the control of Jesus.
Thank you for removing this pain in my heart, in my body, and in my mind. All things have become new, and all things are of God. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I will never take my own life, because now my life belongs to Jesus.
My life belongs to You, Jesus, and your life belongs to me.”
Good news! If you have prayed this prayer, you have taken the way out of the depths of despair. By calling on Jesus for help and believing, He came through for you and now lives in you through his Holy Spirit, His comforter.
