Fight victoriously
Reading, believing the truth and speaking God’s word, making it your lifestyle continually will make you free. (John 8:31-32). Fight victoriously, and walk the Christian life by grace and faith.
Victory is found in the fundamentals of faith. When you pray united with what God’s says, nothing can stop your prayers from being answered.
Your words have power
Your words have power when they agree with God’s word. If you want change, you must watch what you say. Instead, speak the things that are not as though they were. “Therefore the promise comes through faith, so that it might be by grace, that the promise would be certain to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) before God whom he believed, and who raises the dead, and calls those things that do not exist as though they did.” (Romans 4:16-17). MEV
Speak words of faith, what you say is your faith talking. Talk purposefully and you will see change in your life. The destroyer is empowered by your fear-filled words, but your faith-filled words overpower the law of sin and death.
Walk the Christian life
To walk the Christian life by grace and faith you must be obedient and fight victoriously, you don’t want to try living without faith and grace. “Therefore, the promise comes through faith, so that it might be by grace, that the promise would be certain…” (Romans 4:16). MEV
God can’t do anything for you apart from faith. The devil can’t do anything to you apart from fear.
Trust God’s Word more than your feelings. You can’t start a walk unless you take the first step. Believe first then your feelings will follow.
Believe, speak and act
Using the fundamentals of faith: believe, speak and act, a woman received her healing from a lifelong blood disorder. (Mark 5:27-34).
Jesus knew power had gone out of Him, and He wanted to know who had touched Him. The woman told Him all the truth about her situation and her healing. Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” Her faith activated Jesus’ power, and that power healed her.
She fully planned to touch Jesus’ clothing in order to receive her healing and get away. She had some great excuses to not go and get her miracle, because it was against the law for her to go in public with her disease.
She was building faith by believing she would be healed, and she kept saying what she believed. She said it, and she kept saying it. She acted on it. Then she told what had happened.
Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” Wholeness meant she got her healing and her wealth back. She received total restoration. You can find excuses, too. Your mind can talk you out of your miracle.
Faith essentials for victory
- Believe in your heart and say it with your mouth.
- Take corresponding action.
- Radical Christians act on God’s word (Hebrews 11:6). MEV
- Without action, what you believe doesn’t have any power and won’t do you any good.
- Believe it, say it and act on it.
Continue to believe and speak what God says, no matter what, don’t quit! Honor the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart,
“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and he will bring it to pass’” (Psalm 37:4-5). MEV
Don’t be ashamed of the gospel, for it’s the power of God (Romans 1:16). Talk about what God has done for you.
Forgive is an act of your will
You have to forgive, and you can do it. Forgive is an act of your will, instead of as an emotional response to anger, hurt and pain. Begin praying for those whom you have forgiven. God will put a love in your heart for them.
It’s not easy to jump out and do what you’ve never done before but because you know God is in it, it makes things go much smoother. Don’t be afraid to obey God because you might make a mistake. God will fix mistakes.
To summarize
The basics of faith start with believing and speaking, followed by corresponding action. Your words coming out of your heart will reflect what you believe, so listen to yourself with an ear to hear faith.
Do you want to feel worthy and useful again
If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life now is the time to make your life right with God and accept Jesus into your life.
Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised His from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”.
If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life speak the following prayer out loud.
“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I repent and want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name amen.”
If you have said this prayer with your heart, you are now an adopted child of God and heir with Jesus Christ and entitled to eternal life with Him. His Holy Spirit has come to live inside you. The Holy Spirit will comfort, guide, lead and convict you of sins so you may ask forgiveness.
Congratulations, your name has now been written in the Lords’ book of life which means you will have eternal life with Him. Now go and find yourself a bible believing loving Baptist Church so you may grow in your new life.
