Have faith, not hope
The universe was created through faith. God created everything out of nothing with faith, something you can’t physically see. Faith is the substance, the evidence of things not seen. Everything that is seen has been made out of faith.
Faith is not the same as hope, hope is wishing for what can be seen, not believing. The hope below is hoping for things that cannot be seen, which is in line with the will and Word of God which takes the God kind of faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1) MEV.
Every believer has received the same measure of faith that created the heavens and the earth on the inside of our spirit. “…according to the measure of faith God has distributed to every man” (Romans 12:3) MEV. It’s in you now! Faith will work wonders as your belief grows.
As your faith grows, things in your life will begin to happen as indicated by your abounding love towards others. So, what you do with it depends on how you use it. “We are bound to thank God always for you, brothers, as it is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you abounds towards each other” (2 Thessalonians 1:3) MEV.
Praying with focus
When you pray, have faith in God for everything, concentrating on the Name of Jesus which is powerful and effective in making things happen. Faith is the key to unlocking all that God has to give.
Jesus answered them. “Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:22-23) MEV.
Every day, focus your thoughts and prayer on the Lord; by seeking first the kingdom of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to change everything that’s not God’s will. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you” (Matthew 6:33) MEV.
Continue also in prayer, requesting help from the Holy Spirit to live in Christ and Christ and His Word to live in you.
“I am the vine you are the branches. He who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without Me, you can do nothing. If you remain in Me, and My Words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:5, 7) MEV.
Believe, speak, and act on the Word
Some examples of faith are you must believe the Word and speak the Word. What you speak is your faith speaking what your heart believes for. Paul writes, “We have the same spirit of faith. As it is written, “I believed, and therefore I have spoken.” So, we also believe and therefore speak,” (2 Corinthians 4:13) MEV. And Paul also writes “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10) MEV.
So, you see, by the examples Paul gives; after believing, you must also put the Word into action by speaking the Word. Simply just believing will not bring manifestation of your belief.
In summary
To make your faith work and grow you must focus your prayers, speech and action on the Word of God. Negativity and doubt must be rebuked and put out of your life. You must keep your mind renewed every day with the Word. “Do not be conformed to this would, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12: 2) MEV.
Even when things don’t seem to be moving as fast as you want them to, God is still working behind the scenes. God works from the inside of you first, to the outside. When your heart is ready for you to receive, that’s when God will bring your prayers to fruition outside, not before.
If you don’t know Jesus but would like to, continue below:
If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life now is the time to make your life right with God and accept Jesus into your life.
Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised His from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”.
If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life speak the following prayer out loud.
“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I repent and want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name amen.”
If you have said this prayer with your heart, you are now an adopted child of God and heir with Jesus Christ and entitled to eternal life with Him. His Holy
Spirit has come to live inside you. The Holy Spirit will comfort, guide, lead and convict you of sins so you may ask forgiveness.
Congratulations, your name has now been written in the Lords’ book of life which means you will have eternal life with Him. Now go and find yourself a
bible believing loving Baptist Church so you may grow in your new life.
