Nothing is Impossible for God
Stretching Your Faith
I challenge you to stretch your faith, believe for the impossible and expanding your expectations instead of shrinking back or settling for something less. God is not intimidated by your highest expectations.
Paul declared, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). God is saying, “If you can think it, I can do it. If you can dream it, I can do it. Not only that, but I can do even bigger and better things!”
Expand Your Expectations
Doing something that will demand great courage and boldness is challenging. But God is asking you to believe that His Word will do what He has said it will do and He will be there to help you through every challenge. It’s time to expand your expectations regardless of the circumstances around you. If you work at doing this, God will work miracles in your behalf and cause you to experience great and mighty things that others could never imagine happening.”
Don’t let negative circumstances dampen your expectations of God still being able to do great and mighty things on your behalf. He has always been able, and many will say it’s impossible, however, it’s not what people say that matters, it’s what God says that counts. He’s still able to help you through those circumstances. Jesus revealed, “With God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27).
Refuse To Be Negative. You are more than able to expand your expectations and defy the naysayers, regardless of how great or vast they may be because God is in it with you.
Don’t Limit God
God can actually be limited through small thinking and negative talking. This is what the children of Israel constantly did. Psalm 78: 12-20 says, “…they spoke against God; they said, can God furnish a table in the wilderness…can he give bread, also can he provide flesh for his people?” God had proven to them that nothing was impossible for Him, yet every time they faced another challenge, they began thinking small and talking negatively.
Consequently, as a result of being so negative, the Psalmist says in verse 41, “They…limited the Holy One of Israel.” So, because their small thinking and negative talking limited Him back then, and God is no respecter of persons, your small thinking and negative talking will limit Him today also. Don’t let what happened to them happen to you.
That story of the Israelites is an excellent example of what a wrong mindset can do. Begin to think big, talk positive, and expect God to do greater things in your life than you’ve ever experienced before. Change your mindset and begin to think big and be positive and watch the results?
Trust God
In Paul’s account of Abrahams story, the Message Translation says, “[Abraham] dared to trust God to do what only God could do… When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do.” (Romans 4:18).
Do you dare to believe that God can do what He said He would do, even when everybody else is saying it’s impossible? The scripture goes on to say, “Abraham didn’t focus on his own (body)… and say it’s hopeless. Nor did he survey Sarah’s… and give up. He plunged into the promise and came up strong sure that God would make good on what He had said” (Verses 19-21)
Will you accept God’s Word, will you dare to apply it to your life, being positive that it will accomplish what God said it will accomplish? If you truly believe, then nothing is so big that our God isn’t able to take care of it. His might, His power, and His ability are inexhaustible. When this becomes a revelation to you, then no one, including the devil, will be able to convince you otherwise.
This World Needs the Truth
This world needs the truth and the grace of God, and He is calling us to reach more people. We can’t be too cautious playing it safe, we have to be bold. It will take all of us responding in faith and obedience. And even if it looks impossible, God is the master at doing the impossible. Are you convinced yet that nothing is impossible with your God?
Will you agree with me in believing for the impossible? Will you dream bigger? God is not finished with you yet, He has a plan for you, a plan of victory, prosperity and success in every area of your life.
Many things are happening in the world at this present time, but don’t let them prevent you from expanding your faith and expectations. No matter what your needs may be, God has more than enough resources to meet them. So, go ahead and expand your expectations!
God is sovereign, so there’s nothing that He cannot do, He’s still all powerful. There is nothing happening that is above our God.
