In Adam and In Christ:

Every human is born “in Adam.” This means that we inherit not only the physical traits but also the spiritual consequences of Adam’s rebellion. Sin entered the world through Adam, leading to separation from God and the brokenness we see around us.

However, there is hope! Through faith in Christ, believers are transferred “out of Adam” and placed “in Christ.” This spiritual transformation occurs when we accept Jesus as our Savior. We move from a state of sin and darkness to a new identity in Him.

The Family of God:

When we trust in Christ, we become part of God’s family. We are no longer identified with the family of Satan (the kingdom of darkness), but we are adopted into God’s household. We receive the Spirit of adoption, crying out, “Abba, Father!” This adoption is not based on our merit but on God’s grace. We are co-heirs with Christ, sharing in His inheritance. Our relationship with God changes from estrangement to intimacy.

The Kingdom of Light:

The kingdom of darkness represents sin, ignorance, and spiritual blindness. It is a realm where Satan rules and where humanity is enslaved. In contrast, the kingdom of light is the domain of God’s dear Son, Jesus Christ. It is characterized by truth, righteousness, and eternal life. As believers, we are citizens of this kingdom, called to live as children of light.

Walking in the Light:

Scripture encourages us to walk in the light, imitating Christ. His life serves as our example. We are to love as He loved, forgive as He forgave, and serve as He served. By abiding in Christ, we reflect His light to a dark world. Our transformed lives become a testimony to His grace and truth.
