Faith Does Not Draw Back
Perseverance wears down resistance
Perseverance wears down resistance. Shut down what the devil is saying by declaring your covenant. Whatever trouble comes your way combat it with your faith! Don’t let up on your faith and remember a core value, pray about everything. Using your faith in prayer is vital. Don’t allow time to affect your faith.
Perseverance is a course of action you take despite difficulty or circumstances. It means to be persistent, applying consistent pressure to a situation. Perseverance does not give up until the problem is defeated and the desired goal is reached.
“Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38) MEV.
“He told them a parable to illustrate that it is necessary always to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1) MEV.
When you lose heart the battle turns, and the devil can gain the upper hand. That’s why constant prayer is so important.
Crying day and night
“And shall not God avenge His own elect and be patient with them, who cry day and night to Him? (Luke 18:7) MEV.
Crying to Him day and night declaring the Word and standing in faith is not one of desperation but of determination. Even when we are in tears,
faith fearlessly declares, “I have it. God is in control now!”
“I tell you; He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) MEV.
Faith sees beyond what is seen into the eternal so don’t be moved away from what you believe, just be patient and He will move on your behalf.
Paul said, “But none of these things deter me….” (Acts 20:24) MEV. So, strengthen yourself with the power and authority God has given you, and don’t be moved either. Remember, God is in control, and He has already won the victory.
Stand Firm in Faith
Faith is knowing that God is in control and it’s His power and authority that applies aggressive and persistent pressure on any difficulty that may arise.
“See, I will make you a new sharp threshing instrument with double edges; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small and shall make the hills as chaff.” (Isaiah 41:15) MEV.
Aggressive and persistent faith will break down a mountain into tiny particles so small the wind will blow them away like chaff. Standing firm doesn’t take no for an answer. Stop only when you reach your goal. Refuse to give up. Be tenacious, stubborn, and persistent, kept fighting and don’t quit.
Understand your covenant position
Recognize the nature of who Jesus is. You are in Him and He is in you. There are covenant rights and privileges you should diligently seek to understand and to know because of your position as a child of Abraham. By spending time in the Word of God you will understand everything that belongs to you.
Once you know what your covenant promises are Satan will not be able to lie to you anymore. But be humble, because humility is grounded in what God can do that you are unable to do. For your faith to grow you must see and hear the Word by placing it in your eyes and in your ears.
Everyone who has overcome attacks has applied constant, persistent pressure of their covenant onto the devil. They refused to give up until the enemy’s stronghold was broken and their desired result was attained, and victory was theirs.

Put into practice your aggressive persistent faith and it will pull down the enemy’s stronghold. Remember also that you are more than a conqueror. Never give up, refuse to quit and victory will be yours.
