Faith Requires Corresponding Action
Faith into action
Your faith should produce a required action or faith will not work. Be very careful about how you choose your words, because your life is sustained by your faith in God’s Word and His covenants. Learning and applying the basic fundamentals of faith is of utmost importance in order to have victory in your life. Anything worth doing has basic fundamentals to it. All things were created for and by Him; that is, Jesus.
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers, all things were created by Him for Him.” (Colossians 1:16) MEV.
Faith is a spiritual force and is the substance of things hoped for—not wishful things from the mind, true faith is from the heart not the mind. 14 “What good is it, my brethren, if a man professes to have faith, and yet his actions do not correspond? Can such faith save him? What does ii profit, my brothers, if a man says he has faith but has no works?” 18 “But a man may say, ‘You have faith, and I have works’. Show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works”. (James 2:14, 18) MEV.
Speak the truth
Stop using negative words based in the law of sin and death to express your feelings, for example, “I’m thrilled to death,” or “it’s going to be the death of me”. Use positive words to express yourself like “wonderful,” “marvelous” and “awesome”. Be on time, if you tell someone you will be there at a certain time, be punctual.
A basic fundamental of the Spirit is telling the truth because Christ Jesus has redeemed us from the law of sin and death. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death”. (Romans 8:2) MEV.
When you live by faith it’s not necessary to change your lifestyle because of troubling times that come your way. God’s Word and His covenants sustains’ our lives by our faith in His Word. We walk by faith when times are calm and through terrible storms because the Holy Spirit is there to guide us and comfort us.
Whatever it is you believe for, for instance an increase in your finances to be used to glorify God and not your selfish desires, sow a seed to receive a harvest. “But this I say, He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6) MEV.
If you believe for healing, pray in faith, believe and not doubt in your heart; God will deliver you, heal you and set you free. Praying, believing and not doubting is the corresponding action you need to accompany your faith.
“Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain (the mountain is anything in your life that needs removing), ‘Be removed and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them”. (Mark 11:22-24) MEV.
Speak out loud
Speak this out loud every day so that your spirit hears the words and helps to bolster your faith and bring the desired result. “I have faith in God. I ask according to God’s will, and I speak the desired result. I demonstrate with corresponding action that I have received my answer. Faith works in my life, today!”
