Reigning or Just Maintaining: Living a Supernatural Life
Fix your attention on God
How do you move beyond the ordinary and experience the extraordinary? As followers of Christ, we’re not called to be “normal.” The world’s definition of normal shouldn’t apply to us. Jesus didn’t die on the cross for us to lead mundane lives!
Paul’s words to the believers in Rome resonate: “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit in without thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be transformed from the inside out” (Romans 12:2, Message paraphrase).
We’re called to reign in life
Romans 5:17 declares that through Jesus, we receive abundance of grace and righteousness. To reign means to exercise royal authority, power, and dominion—to prove superior. We’re meant to be superior to sickness, lack, and insufficiency.
So, are you reigning or just maintaining? Don’t settle for the ordinary! Rise to all that Jesus has provided. His sacrifice empowers us—no longer under the adversary’s rule.
Maintaining is mere survival.
Maintaining is mere survival—bare minimum existence. But Jesus didn’t give His life for us to “hold on.” He wants us to reign as kings! Reject religious tradition; embrace the truth: You can reign in life.
Discover the immeasurable power within you. Ephesians 1:19 speaks of surpassing greatness available through faith. Activate it! Many believers miss out because they don’t declare or believe in God’s power.
Know and understand God’s Word.
Strengthen your faith by hearing God’s Word. Isaiah 55:11 assures that His Word accomplishes its purpose. Value it—it transforms, empowers, and leads to victory. It’s the key to reigning in life through Jesus Christ’s finished work. Live victoriously!
Say this today, ‘I declare I possess immeasurable, unlimited, and surpassing power through faith, and I am called to reign in life as a king, in Jesus’ Name!’
God desires you to experience every benefit and blessing that Jesus secured through His sacrifice. You hold royal authority to exercise dominion over sickness, disease, lack, poverty, and want.
Are You Reigning?
Reigning in life means reaching your full potential; embracing the richness of your position in Christ. Reject the ordinary; refuse to settle. Instead, embrace the power and authority available to you through faith in Christ. Watch your faith grow as you align with God’s promises. “Are You Reigning or Just Maintaining?” serves as a powerful guide to help you establish a scriptural pattern for reigning in life and exercising your royal authority.
May this message ignite a victorious life—a life designed for extraordinary impact. You were created to reign! Stir up your faith and step into the abundant life God intended for you.
