The greatest misunderstanding, I believe, is also the worst lie ever spread — that if you are a good person, you will go to heaven.

In traveling across the globe and studying the religions of the world, I have found that this great lie permeates them all. But it is antithetical to the Christian faith. There is only one good person in heaven, and that’s Jesus!

What we believe about eternity impacts our lives today. How different would our lives look if we truly grasped the reality of heaven? We would share Christ more urgently with the lost. We would be more joyful in difficult times. And we would spend more time storing up treasure in the life to come rather than living for ourselves now.
