God’s solid foundation
God wants to reveal His love for you and teach you more about Himself. Because life must have a solid foundation, every life should be built on faith in God’s love—faith, hope, and love. “So now abide faith, hope, and love, these three. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13) MEV.
No life can be built successfully on your personality, success, or wealth. The person who attempts to fashion a life without the manifestations of the Spirit of God will eventually be spiritually bankrupt. These manifestations come from God’s will, as the Spirit wills. If the Spirit doesn’t will, there won’t be any manifestation.
Revealed knowledge of the rock (Faith).
This solid foundation must be according to the revealed knowledge of the rock (faith) upon which Jesus has built His Church. This rock is the faith in the Word of God which states that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, come to earth to redeem people back to the Father.
Jesus asked the disciples who they thought He was, “He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven, and I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock (faith), I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:15-18) MEV.
The Holy Spirit revealed this knowledge to Peter, and it came to him directly from the Holy Spirit within Peter to his spirit, then to his mind.
However, it’s just head knowledge unless God reveals and opens our hearts to understanding His Word.
Sense knowledge vs spiritual knowledge
The world’s education produces a sense of knowledge in your mind, gained through the physical senses. Sense knowledge produces worldly religion. But Faith walks in a different direction than the physical senses. We do not live our lives by what we see or feel. You are still living by your worldly knowledge of your mind if all you believe is something you can see or feel.
Spiritual knowledge is Faith in the Spirit of God where you don’t live by what you see or feel you live by what you believe—God’s eternal Word. God leads you and teaches you through your spirit.
When Jesus said “If a person has ears to hear, let him hear. He that has eyes to see, let him see.” He was talking about the eyes and ears of the spirit,” (Matthew 11:15, 13:16).
God chooses us
God doesn’t have love; we understand that God is Love, “And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16) MEV.
God demonstrated how much He loves you. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) MEV.
Jesus is choosing you right now. “You did not choose me, but I chose you…” (John 15:16)
The Lord doesn’t want anyone to perish. “The Lord is not slow concerning His promises, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us; because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) MEV.
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God,” (John 3:3) MEV.
Jesus says to everyone, “Come to me, all you who are labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) MEV.
When a person is born again their whole life up to that point becomes new as the Word of God says, “Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Look, all things have become new.” Jesus redeems you back to the Father and comes to live in you through His Holy Spirit.
Time for a decision
The choice is yours. God does not force His word on anyone. But here is another verse to help with your decision.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned. But he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18) MEV.
Now, let me be straight forward with you, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, although it will change your life in a mighty way for the better, it does come with some consequences, especially in recent days. Christians are being persecuted around the world and even here in the United States the last few years persecution has been on the rise. Jesus Himself said we will be persecuted for His Name. Are you willing to live with persecution for a much better life and an eternal life with Jesus instead of eternal hell separated from God.
It’s now time to make a choice. God has chosen you and wants you to spend eternity with Him. Will you make the choice to believe His love for you and repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Prayer of Salvation
God loves you so much, and He’s offering you an abundant life that is full of vision here on earth and eternal life with Him in Heaven. The cross of Jesus is your path to His great redemption plan for you, a plan to bring you into a personal relationship with Him. He’s ready to come into your life and help you make a change if you want Him to.
Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised His from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”.
If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life speak the following prayer aloud.
“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I repent and want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name amen.”
If you have said this prayer with your heart, you are now an adopted child of God and heir with Jesus Christ and entitled to eternal life with Him. His Holy Spirit has come to live inside you. The Holy Spirit will comfort, guide, lead and convict you of sins so you may ask forgiveness.
Congratulations, your name has now been written in the Lords’ book of life which means you will have eternal life with Him. Now go and find yourself a bible believing loving church so you may grow in your new life.
Here is a good Christian site to hear and learn more about being a Christian, let them know that you have accepted Jesus into your life, and they will send you more information on your walk with Jesus.
