The God kind of faith
Every born-again believer receives the faith of Jesus when He comes to live in you through His Holy Spirit. Only born-again people have God’s faith inside them. Paul said that men who haven’t been born again do not have God’s faith (2 Thessalonians 3:2).
Every person who is born again becomes a new creature. They are now living in Christ, and Christ is living in them, (2 Corinthians 5:17).
The God kind of faith is released in spoken words. It takes spiritual laws for God’s faith to work. Our faith will begin to work as we study and use those laws!
Understanding how to use faith
Understanding how to use faith to bring change we look at Jesus’ example of the fig tree. Jesus spoke to the tree telling it what to do and then walked away leaving it in the fathers’ hands, (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21).. The next morning the tree was dried up from the roots.
The only kind of faith the natural man has is faith based on sense knowledge. He only believes in what he can see and feel. However, born-again believers walk by faith, not by sight or by the evidence of physical senses (2 Corinthians 5:7).
How we use that faith
We use that faith by believing and speaking what we believe, (2 Corinthians 4:13). If you have the faith of God, it’s the God kind of faith. This is God’s faith, and this is the way God works. To see results this is also the way we have to work.
Once you speak the faith command, turn it over to God, leave the result in God’s hands, and thank Him for the results.
This is vital when using faith. Don’t examine what you are using faith to change. Your unbelief can stop your faith. Your words of doubt will block the results you desire. When your faith is working, you can’t always see it, so be patient while God works on the results.
Rapping it up
When you made the decision to receive Jesus, you believed in your heart and said with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
You were then saved by faith which is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).
The way faith comes is you hear God’s Word, you believe it, you say it, and faith is there, by hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17).
It’s what you do with faith after believing that causes faith to grow. Three steps to follow for results are believe, speak and receive results.
Assurance of Salvation
If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life now is the time to make your life right with God and accept Jesus into your life.
Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised His from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”.
If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life speak the following prayer aloud.
“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I repent and want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name amen.”
If you have said this prayer with your heart, you are now an adopted child of God and heir with Jesus Christ and entitled to eternal life with Him. His Holy Spirit has come to live inside you. The Holy Spirit will comfort, guide, lead and convict you of sins so you may ask forgiveness.
Congratulations, your name has now been written in the Lords’ book of life which means you will have eternal life with Him. Now go and find yourself a bible believing loving church so you may grow in your new life.
